SAMPLE SENTENCES IN THE BIBLE THAT ARE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH QUR’AN

ALLAH

·        There is no God but Allah[1]
“So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other” [2] “…so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other.” [3]
·        Allah is the First and the Last.[4]
“I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.”[5]
·        He is one of a kind.[6] 
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendour, doing wonders?”[7] … “To whom then will you compare me, or who is my equal? says the Holy One.”[8]
·        He is the Compassionate and the Merciful.[9]
“The Lord is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.”[10]
·        He is the righteous.[11]
“For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds.”[12]
  • Nothing is hidden from Allah [13]
“Am I a God near by, says the Lord, and not a God far off? Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord.”[14]
  • Allah does what He wills; He cannot be questioned about what He does.[15]
For his sovereignty is an everlasting sovereignty, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does what he wills with the host of heaven   and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can stay his hand or say to him, ‘What are you doing?’[16]I am God, and also henceforth I am He; there is no one who can deliver from my hand; I work and who can hinder it?[17]
For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.[19]

·         He kills, brings to life, brings low, exalts.[20]
 The Lord kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low, he also exalts.[21]
·         The word of Allah is upright.[22]
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.[23]
  • No one can do anything without His permission.[24]
“Who can command and have it done, if the Lord has not ordained it?”[25]
  • There is no difficulty for Allah [26]
See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?[27]
·         The judgment of Allah cannot be changed.[28]
·         Allah compensates everyone for what they have done.[30]
For he will repay according to each one’s deeds.[31]
  • Allah is close to everyone who calls Him.[32]
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.[33]
·        Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth belong to Allah. [34]
The heavens are yours, the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it—you have founded them.[35]
·        No one can make straight what he has made crooked.[36]
Consider the work of God; who can make straight what he has made crooked?[37]
  •  The Sun and The Moon are subjected to Allah [38]
You have made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting.[39]
·         All praise is due to Allah.[40]
 “For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised ...  The Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him ...”[41] “Praise the Lord, all you nations! Extol him, all you peoples! For great is his steadfast love towards us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!”[42]
  • One day and a thousand years.[43]
“But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord[44] one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.”[45]
·         The knowledge about Doomsday is only with Allah. [46]
But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son [47] but only the Father.[48]
·         Fearing Allah and Worship only for Allah. [49]
 “Only fear the Lord, and serve him faithfully with all your heart…”[50] “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom[51], and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.”[52] “….Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.” [53]   
·        Do not make as equal with Allah another deity.[54]
You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol…  You shall not bow down to them or worship them”[55] “You shall not worship other gods or bow yourselves to them or serve them or sacrifice to them.”[56]
·         Rely upon Allah.[57]
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be a healing for your flesh and a refreshment for your body.”[58]
·         Whatever Allah has made lawful cannot be prohibited.[59]
“What God has made clean, you must not call profane.”[60]
·         Allah will help whoever helps Him.[61]
“Therefore the Lord the God of Israel declares: “…for those who honour me I will honour…”[62]
·         One should say “I will do if Allah wills.[63]
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a town and spend a year there, doing business and making money.’ Yet you do not even know what tomorrow will bring.… Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wishes, we will live and do this or that.’”
